Project
Headless Kit
WP → Next.js
The problem
WordPress is the editor most clients already know, but connecting it to a modern Next.js frontend means rebuilding the same plumbing on every project: rendering blocks, previews that work, and keeping the cache up to date.
What it does
- Renders Gutenberg blocks as real shadcn/ui components, not a blob of HTML
- The Preview button in WordPress opens the draft on the Next.js site
- Publishing or editing content updates the live site immediately
- Landing page, projects and menus managed from WordPress
- Uses the built-in REST API with one small companion plugin, no GraphQL
Status
In development. This site runs on it.
Guide
A practical guide in two parts. Part 1 is for the developer who sets the site up and maintains it. Part 2 is for the people who write and edit in WordPress every day; you can hand it to your client as is.
