The idea
You're alone in the wilderness as autumn turns. Build a homestead, keep warm and fed, and restore the abandoned town down the path, whose residents turn your raw materials into goods: wheat into flour into bread, wool into cloth into a warm coat.
The first slice is one autumn and one winter on a small map, and it asks one question: is surviving winter on bread from your own wheat fun?
What it is
- Hunger, thirst, warmth and health, and a temperature that falls through autumn into a winter of −12 °C and swings between day and night
- Chop wood, pick berries and mushrooms, set snares, cook over the campfire, drink from the pond, and build your lean-to up into a hut
- Till fields, grow wheat and turnips, and keep sheep for wool, fed from a trough once the snow comes
- The old town: rescue Ada the miller and rebuild the mill, then rebuild the house so Bram the baker and Wren the weaver move in. Each lives by a daily schedule and falls ill if their pantry runs empty
- Winter turns the map white, freezes the pond and strips the bushes. The game saves when you sleep and ends at the thaw

Status
In development. The first slice, one autumn and one winter, is complete and plays from the title screen to the thaw. All the art is placeholder for now, and the name is a working title.
